Organizational Tools: From Data to Action
Organizational research and practice is often inaccessible, under appreciated, or otherwise locked away. To help address this problem, this talk reviews several organizational tools that we have developed (e.g., for psychometrics, adverse impact, the O*NET, utility analysis). These tools are not perfect in any sense; instead, their review is intended to stimulate your own excitement for creating better ones that, ideally, will improve research and practice while generating greater organizational insight and action.
6:00-8:00pm: Networking, Virtual Booths for Sponsors
Part 2: Agenda (2900 S Quincy St #200, Arlington, VA 22206)
5:00-8:00pm: Networking, Snacks and Drinks, and In-Person Booths for Sponsors
Additional Details:
- New this year: Due to the unpredictability of COVID-19, this event will be done in two parts: a virtual portion and an in-person portion. For the virtual component, we will again be leveraging Orbits, an immersive online venue for virtual events. This will enable richer networking among attendees and permit sponsors to have virtual booths for recruiting candidates for open roles or providing information about services and offerings. The in-person component will provide face-to-face networking among attendees and permit sponsors to have booths.
- Part 1 of the Fall Event will start with award announcements, followed by one featured presentations, and end with a virtual networking session.
- Part 2 of the Fall event will be an opportunity for in-person unstructured networking.
- Registering for the Fall event offers admission to both events. There is not an option to register for only one of the two events, however, attendance is optional at either portion.
- The presentation will be a live webcast, where attendees can ask questions.
- The recorded webcast will be available to PTCMW members in the webcast library.
- Registration closes at 11PM EST on Monday, November 14th. Register now!
