Reserve your spot at SIOP’s 4th Annual Leading Edge Consortium, “Executive Coaching for Effective Performance: Leading Edge Practice and Research” (October 17-18, 2008; Cincinnati, OH). The consortium will be centered on the psychology, impact and best practices in executive coaching. Featured speakers include Douglas McKenna (Microsoft Corporation) and Sandra Davis (MDA Leadership Consulting). SIOP is now accepting nominations, including self-nominations, for the next editor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice. The deadline for nominations is July 30 and the new editor will begin a 3-year term in April 2009. Nominations for the new IOP editor should be sent to dnershi at siop dot org and should include the vita of the nominee.

The Center for Creative Leadership is sponsoring the Kenneth E. Clark Student Research Award, the annual competition to recognize outstanding unpublished papers by undergraduate and graduate students. The winner will receive a prize of $1,500 and a trip to the Center to present the paper in a colloquium. Entries (accompanied by faculty letters) must be received by October 10, 2008.
