SAIC’s Corporate HR Organization is currently seeking a full-time analyst to work with its People Analytics Team. In this unique position, the selected candidate will obtain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying analytics solutions for SAIC’s global HR organization.
Specific responsibilities include:
Supports People Analytics team through the creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of key human resources data sets, reports, and metrics. Leverages consultative expertise and data analytics to aid HR COEs in aligning their operational activities with their strategic goals. Serves as domain expert for human capital analytics; develops sophisticated predictive/regression analytics & data modeling. Creates and presents analytical presentations and metrics in support of line HR teams and Line leadership.
Strong analytical, logic/reasoning skills required. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to translate business requirements into quantitative analysis.
Functional skills required:
Experienced in reporting, statistics, metrics and analytics. Excellent communication and presentation skills required as well as the ability to effectively explain metrics to all levels in the organization
Technical skills required:
Data management and analytics systems and software experience (SQL, Hyperion, MS Access, Tableau, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, a proven work ethic, and good communication skills. The candidate will be a strategic thinker as well as proficient in tactical data manipulation, algorithm development. have strong organizational skills, and be a proven problem solver.
