About the Job

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Talent Management and Development organization, you will work with a team of dedicated HR professionals to apply principles of Industrial-Organizational Psychology to solve problems related to selection processes, leadership development, career development, training quality and employee engagement. You will focus primarily on data generated by surveys you will design and administer to a variety of audience throughout the enterprise.

In your position, you will be able to build skills in many areas of I-O Psychology. For example, your work could include job analysis and competency modeling; development and implementation of selection processes; development of training evaluation systems; and other organization research. In addition, the internship provides a great opportunity for you to develop skills in project management and applied statistics.

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:        

  • Candidates, regardless of age, must be currently enrolled FULL-TIME pursuing a Bachelors, Masters or PhD from an accredited college/university program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related degree 
  • 3.25 GPA or higher

Preferred Qualifications:         

  • 3.7 GPA or higher
